This was taken at Labuan Island, Malaysia while we were waiting for our ride to Brunei. The weather was fine and the sun was gentle at 7 in the morning. As I stood in the middle of the parking lot, I can see thru my thrifted shades people whispering at each other and staring at me. It's a sign that they don' t normally see a person wearing bright colored top standing at this beautiful spot where am at.

Bag I bought at a souvenir shop in Malaysia for around RM36.00 ($12.00) in a faux horse leather.

This was taken somewhere in the streets of Brunei.

Since my friends were busy having their money exchanged, I decided to cross the street and have my picture taken of course. I love my scarf gifted by my sister, it's stretchable. You can make put around your neck, wear it as a bandana, on your wrist, a belt or even a scarf on your bag!

Lok Kawi Wildlife Park : A Place To Love

Ever since I was a kid, it has been my dream to see all kinds of animals! 

I have this wide array of toys of different sizes piled in a used huge biscuit container. 

My mom also bought us an alphabet of animals which I used to memorize from A-Z.

I never miss out A and N in playing P.A.N.T.S (Places, Animals, Name, Thing and Score).

Our last stop before heading Labuan Island is Lok Kawi Wildlife Park.

This is something that you should not miss if you are in Kota Kinabalu.

For Non Malaysian, adult entrance is only RM20.00 or $6.50.

This is one of the largest wildlife parks in Malaysia.

For 280 acres, animals here are placed in a huge space were they freely move, run and have fun just like in a playground.

Inside the zoo there is an Aviary which shelters a wide variety of birds and a botanical garden where you can find a Rafflesia, Pitcher plants, orchids and a lot more.

Here are few fascinating animals inside the Zoo.

The Albino Python..i get to kiss this snake, they say it brings good luck.

Kota Kinabalu: Nature Resort City

Kota Kinabalu (pronounced [ˈkota kinaˈbalu]), formerly known as Jesselton,is the capital of Sabah state in East Malaysia. It is also the capital of the West Coast Division of Sabah. The city is located on the northwest coast of Borneo facing the South China Sea. The Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park lies on one side and Mount Kinabalu, which gave the city its name, is nearby. Kota Kinabalu proper has a population of 452,058 while the larger urban area which includes Penampang district has an estimated population of 651,658. It is the largest urban centre in Borneo and the sixth largest in Malaysia.

Kota Kinabalu is often known as K.K. within Malaysia and internationally. It is a major tourist destination and a popular gateway for travellers visiting Sabah and Borneo. Kinabalu National Park is located about 90 kilometres from the city and there are many tourist attractions in and around the city. Kota Kinabalu is also one of the major industrial and commercial centres of East Malaysia. These two factors combine to make Kota Kinabalu one of the fastest growing cities in Malaysia.

The five islands (of Gaya, Sapi, Manukan, Sulug, Mamutik) opposite the city, and their surrounding waters, are also preserved as the Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park.

Aside from the lovely beaches, here some of the places where you can visit in Kota Kinabalu.

The Double Six Monument is a memorial located at Sembulan area in Grace Garden housing complex in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah,Malaysia which marks the site of the June 6, 1976 fatal plane crash known as the Double Six Tragedy bearing the first Chief Minister of Sabah, Tun Fuad Stephens, as well as six other State ministers.

The Atkinson Clock Tower is the oldest standing structure in the whole of Sabah that survived the destruction of Jesselton Town during Word War II.

Menara Tun Mustapha Tower is a 30-storey high circular tower of glass and steel. This is the second tallest building in the island of Borneo. Inside there is an auditorium, two mini theaters, an exhibition foyer, a gymnasium and at the 18th floor is the @mosphere Revolving Restaurant. It makes one rotation per hour.

Kinabalu National Park where you can find the Mount Kinabalu. The highest mountain in the Malay Archipelago.

Also in the National Park you can find the Poring Hot springs. 

The therapeutic tubs of sulphuric minerals.

Aside from hot springs, there's also a very cold swimming pool.

Last but not the least is this:

It looks like a golden tree.

I'll definitely visit this country again.

Here are the few summer clothes my friends wore during our Island hopping at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park.

Karen, in a bad-girl-in-the-beach look.

Her white boho skirt is so pretty to look at.

With her Panama hat to spice up that -"beachy" mode.

The back detail of her top is tattered and low back, giving the outfit a whole new attitude.

Veron for the hippie look.

Although she's wearing a dark colored top, the material is sheer.

Her gorgeous RayBan aviators, the knotted bandana on her head and the tribal printed bikini makes the ensemble looks intresting.

To complete the hippie look, of course, the peace sign has to be present.

Yazmin for the flirty & fun look.

The sundress with playful prints in sea colors and the straw sun hat is effortless yet sexy and fashionable.

Here are some of the most memorable food I have eaten in Malaysia.

It is stuffed with fried rice mixed carrots, corn, egg, green peas, slices of shrimp and squid.
